Thanksgiving Dinner Pumpkin Pie is Going in the Oven

Hello and welcome to my medieval blog.

Today we are having our Thanksgiving Dinner! I imagine most of you who celebrate the holiday have already enjoyed your feast back on Thursday and are wondering why we are having ours three days later.

Today is the "best day" for us to get together. It also makes a great way to end the weekend and go into another week of school and work.

You know, I have never made a pie before. Today I thought I would make a pumpkin pie. I mean how hard could it be, right?

Seemed easy enough. Just threw a can of pumpkin and some other stuff in a bowl, mixed it up, poured it into a pie crust and tossed it into the oven for 45 minutes. An hour or so after it finishes baking we'll see how it came out.

In the meantime I hope to get some things done on my medieval website.
